I give my kids a lot of bum spanks (in the endearing sortta way!)...tonight V’s bum was hanging out of her pants and she was shaking it and laughing. I told Maximo “Spank that little bum for me”. Well, I forgot how literal the kid is and he full on connects and V stares at me in a state of shock. I tell him “Buddy! I meant a baby bum spank!” And he says back to “Mom. I did spank the baby’s bum!!!” 🤦🏽‍♀️ At least it turned out better than the time I asked him to “throw the avocados up there” at the grocery store checkout...poor guy never saw them coming...

My heart is full and my cheeks are sore! Both sets 😂 How did these kids get such wild personalities?! They tell jokes, they tease, they teach me new dance moves, and they definitely make me pay for it when I tell them the lake is 50m away and it turns into hour long uphill shoulder rides. I tell ya, my butt has never been so sore!!! 🍑 Thanks for keeping me honest kids. #honestyispolicy #worthit

Where are all my fellow picture perfect ladies at because this pressed lip, tongue sticker-outer needs some photog tips! 🤪 Actually, I’m ok with it because this year my goal was to make my life REAL! Real full with new friendships, adventure, and personal growth. And let me tell you, it’s been the real deal 🙊. I’ve had so many days where I wake up and think to myself “I can’t believe this is my new job!” but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t filled with second guesses, sleepless nights, and long days. Shifting into the tech and cannabis space has been a humbling experience of making mistakes, feeling like an outsider, and pushing myself to grow. But with it comes celebration and today I’m celebrating being 1 of 10 companies selected for the YYC Tech Accelerator program working with mentors in Silicon Valley and across NA. 🥂So here’s to being real and recognizing that it ain’t always pretty! ...Plus I’ve got 2 more SUP races this season to dial in my sexy face... #bringingsexyback

This kid is my barnacle! We’re pretty much attached at the hip - except for when we’re biking or she has ice cream (she knows I take giant bites!). I’m so happy about all the time we got to spend together on this trip! Ok, I’ll admit it...sometimes I felt like going bonkers because she can’t get enough of me and literally treats my body like her personal playground but those big blue eyes, toothy grin, and head of blond curls sucks me in every time! Especially when she’s standing across the room and playing peek-a-boo with her bashful little smile. It’s not until we lock eyes and my heart melts that I totally realize she has tricked me again and pooped her pants! Why won’t you poo on the potty?!?

Get ready for some Whistler spam because the crew is back in action! It took awhile, lots of carpet cleaning, and a night at the hospital but thankfully we have 1 more week to make up for lost time. First thing on the list? Socks. Both kids were given $20 to spend on the trip and buy something special. While checking out gear, Maximo spotted some socks and despite my best attempts to explain that these $19.95 socks (insert eye roll) would take all his money, they had already won his heart. After dreaming about his self declared “Gummy Bear Socks” all night, we went back to pick them up. 3 days later, they are still the only socks he’ll wear and I’m pretty sure everyone in town has heard about them. Too bad the poor guy inherited his mom’s sense of style... #thekidsarealright #lifeincolour

Earlier today we were laughing, playing, and back to routine. I even started writing a post saying that V may have been whapping me in the face with her stuffy but we were all smiles. Yesterday however was a very different story...Maximo accidentally smashed his head into my chin and I took the opportunity to break down and cry. The past 3 days have been hard. Really hard. The long drives, lack of sleep, diarrhea explosions, and general exhaustion from packing and being on the road sucked every ounce of energy from me. While I sat drinking my coffee in the afternoon sun today, I was so happy and thought we were in the clear...and then tonight rolled around and the throwing up started. Thankfully today’s small taste of sanity restored my will power and I know I’ll get through this too. In the meantime I’m glad I shaved my legs, took a shower, and washed my hair cause shits going downhill real fast again 😂 So here’s a flashback to 7hrs ago when this monster didn’t have barf breath and the carpets in this place were a little bit cleaner and a little less stinky. #therealmotherhood #aintmyhouse #iratherbebiking
